So, if you want to open a joint member share account, please just complete 2 individual applications together with supporting documentation below for each applicant so that the required regulatory money laundering checks can easily be carried out.
Please clearly write on the top of each form JOINT and the surname of the other applicant.
You will need to provide the following for each applicant
- Proof of ID - Passport, Full Driving Licence, Benefits/PensionBooks/DWP Confirmation Letter, Staff/Student IDcard, Notice of tax coding (current year)
- Proof of Address - Utility Bill, Bank/Credit Card Statement (Less than 3 months old), Council tax demand (current year), Rent Book, Full Driving License (if not used as proof of identity)
- Initial deposit of £10 (cash or cheque)
Once we have seen & verified all your documents and received the initial deposit (minimum of £10) we can open your joint account and you can start to save!
Remember to be a member of BERKSHIRE CREDIT UNION you must either live, work or study in Berkshire and the surrounding area* (including living in the same household of an existing member), or be involved in a energy saving project/scheme that has been formally recognised by BERKSHIRE CREDIT UNION.
The surrounding area of Berkshire is defined as North Hampshire, South Buckinghamshire & South Oxfordshire.
